Aiming to improve social development programs through the definition of actions within the National Social Development Commission and the Inter-Ministry Social Development Commission, the CONEVAL presents the 2010 Follow-up Report of Aspects Susceptible to Improvement by Federal Programs, a follow-up process in which 13 Federal Public Administration offices and states participated.

During 2009, Federal Public Administration (APF) offices and states undertook external evaluations on their federal programs. Based on the finds of said evaluations, early 2010 the institutions began a selection process of these finds and their classification, according to the players and authorities involved in their service provision.

From 2007 to 2008 offices and states undertook Consistency and Results evaluations and in matters of the Design of the programs subject to rules of operation, in order to count with a diagnosis of the institutional, organizational and management capabilities of results-based programs.

Executive report on poverty in Mexico, 2007

This document presents the results of the activities undertaken by CONEVAL in matters of poverty measurement in its different dimensions, temporary scope and territorial disaggregation. By this, it aims to fulfill the purpose of contributing with timely information on the population’s poverty conditions in its different dimensions, enabling us to count with a preliminary analysis framework of its causes and consequences and thus contribute with relevant elements for national development planning.

Childhood and adolescence within the context of the global economic crisis: the case of Mexico

The objective of this study, derived from a survey conducted in 2009 by CONEVAL and UNICEF Mexico, was to analyze some of the changes seen, between 2008 and 2009, in access to food, school attendance and child labor among girls, boys and teenagers (zero to 17 years of age) within the context of the 2009 economic crisis.
