Eduardo Aldunateexpert in the Area of Budgetary Policies and Public Management of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL)
Within the framework of the General Guidelines for the Evaluation of Federal Programs of the Federal Public Administration, The National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONEVAL), in coordination with the Ministry of Finacnce (SHCP), is carrying out a series of training seminars on the Logical Framework Methodology, mainly targeted to the heads and operators of federal government programs.
This Seminar has as an objective to introduce public servants to the methodology of the Logical Framework (Indicator Matrix), which is a tool that helps to design and to structure better federal programs, besides facilitating their evaluation, achieving results of impact to society. That is, achieve a better management.
Eduardo Aldunate, expert in the Area of Budgetary Policies and Public Management of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL) and the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) exposed to the attendants to the first phase of the seminars, the conditions in order for those responsible for the federal programs to clearly determine their impact, outcomes, outputs and their activities, as well as the indicators based on effectiveness, efficiency, quality and economy criteria.
These seminars will be imparted throughout the month of July to the operators of federal programs and external evaluators.
